About the PTA

Every parent at this school is automatically a member of the PTA so everyone is welcome to come to the PTA meetings and help run events throughout the year to raise money for the school.

The all new committee member roles are held as follows:

PTA Chairperson         Katherine Rostgaard

PTA Secretary            Rhian Cockshoot

PTA Treasurers          Kam O’Donnell and Karen Mahdavi

By joining in the activities of the PTA you can find out more about how the school works and get to know other parents and staff at the school. You will also be enhancing the facilities, fundraising for extra resources and helping the pupils to receive a richer education. There's also a definite possibility of having fun and making new friends at the same time. Some members come regularly to meetings, others offer help for functions, bake cakes, or make Christmas wreaths, whilst others may not have so much time to offer but make donations to appeals for raffle and tombola prizes.

Dads Army is our PTA taskforce, helping with everything from building and roofing, to making cider for the Christmas and Summer fayres.

The PTA has some really fun and exciting events planned in the hope of raising further funds for the school.  So please make sure you take a look at the PTA events section to put the dates in your diary.

The PTA aim to meet once a month and we endeavour to give everyone plenty of notice through class rep emails, facebook or on the website.

If you are unable to make it on the night, please feel free to speak to your class rep, one of the committee members for further information or email us at gkcspta@hotmail.co.uk
